After some late-night grocery shopping, I came across this parking lot scene and couldn't resist documenting it. (Yes, I know my blog banner above this post is low-resolution, I am still trying to figure out how to fix it.)
Actually, it was shot with a(now retired) Nikon D1H. I WISH I had my Canon handy or that new Nikon D3. I could have shot at 1600-6400 ISO and gotten the picture really sharp. Oh well...
Newspaper photojournalism and weddings are two photography passions in my life. I feel very blessed that I can apply my experience as a staff photographer for the Chicago Sun-Times, skill, and creativity to the bride and groom of today. Today's couples are asking for real pictures that tell the story of their special day. Lucky for all of us!

I dig the shot. Reminds me New Orleans, actually. Did you shoot this with your Canon or one of the new turbo-charged ISO Nikons?
