For generations, the Ukranian Easter tradition of creating decorated eggs called pysanka has been passed down in my wife's family. We are so blessed that she has embraced the art, and has the talent to adorn our home with such beauty! (As the Beatles put to song, "Well the Ukraine girls really knock me out...!")
Special note: The word, xpnctoc should have a reversed "n," but I don't know how to make that character on my keyboard. In Ukranian, the expression, Xpnctoc Bockpec, means "Christ has risen."
UPDATE! Although I did not make the correction on the photo, I now know how to make the backwards "n," so the text on the photo should read as follows: Xpиctoc Bockpec. Thanks to Dan Carr for the tip. Thanks Dan!
